Since 2023, Althea has served as the Supervisor of Teaching & Learning for Centennial School District in Pennsylvania, where she is responsible for:   

• Overseeing the English Language Development Program

• Leading Social, Emotional, Academic Learning & Inclusive Practices initiatives

• Managing Federal Programs

• Serving as a Community Liaison, providing interpretation & translation services

• Managing Registration & Child Accounting

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Before her current role, Althea served as the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for K-12 in the Council Rock School District for over 20 years. In this role, she:   

• Led thirteen subject area coordinators and six technology integration specialists.   

• Spearheaded the implementation of new curricular and technology programs.   

• Provided guidance and support to ensure alignment to standards, high-quality instruction, and student success.   

• Althea also served as a Technology Integration Specialist, Twilight Program Director, Online Instructor, and Webmaster within the Council Rock School District. These diverse roles showcase her adaptability, expertise in technology, and commitment to student support.
